Building Innovative Data Services on a MarkLogic Data Hub and deploying them on Data Hub Service

New to the MarkLogic Data Hub and the Data Hub Service? This will be a great, hands-on opportunity to work with a MarkLogic Data Hub, get creative building data services, and deploy in the cloud — in one night. You will work with other team members with varied backgrounds and be mentored by an experienced MarkLogic developer as well as other technical experts right there in the room with you.

Got some years under your belt? Come strut your stuff and show us what you can do. Experiment with that feature you have been wanting to explore — this is your chance. Get to know other MarkLogic developers and see what they are doing with the technology. Pick the brains of an expert.

All Hackathon participants will get a free MarkLogic Professional Certification Test promo code (valued at $300 USD) to use within 90 days of the conference. This is a great opportunity to become a Certified MarkLogic Professional. And there will also be additional prizes for the winning teams!!

Based on feedback from last year, this year’s Hackathon will be held in one night, after the closing keynote. We will kick off Wednesday evening at 5:30pm in the Developer Lounge, with team formation and rules. Food and drinks will be provided of course. Teams are then on their own to work with their mentors and get into it, before we close the evening around midnight with presentations, judging, and prizes.

Leading up to the Hackathon, the Developer Lounge will be open throughout the conference and will be staffed by MarkLogic University trainers, MarkLogic consultants, partners, and engineers. Got a question? Want to talk through a problem? Stop by the Lounge and meet fellow developers.

Familiarity with the MarkLogic Data Hub is strongly encouraged — but not required. The Using the MarkLogic Data Hub Framework training course is being offered onsite on Monday, May 13, at MarkLogic World.
